Grant Criteria
If you're considering submitting a Grant Proposal to A Fund For Women, there is one very important requirement with which you must comply: All organizations applying for AFFW grants MUST be considered non-profit or not-for-profit meaning your tax status MUST be that of a 501c3 organization.
It is also important that your Grant Application fit our format for consideration. Please review the Grant Application Format page listed here on our site under the heading HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT. You will want to supply all of the information requested here. It will help those who make grant decisions if you follow this format closely, and make sure your submissions are complete and thorough.
And finally, be sure to consider letter B under article VI ATTACHMENTS, the very last line on our form. It asks for any other information you wish AFFW to consider. If your organization is involved in activities not included in the first six areas listed here, be sure to describe what they might be. We don't want to miss any of your marvelous accomplishments because they don't specifically fit into our form.
