Therese Gulbransen
Therese Gulbransen, one of a family of 9, came from the Chicago area to Madison and in 1994 became co-owner of The Printing Partners, a local commercial printing firm. In
addition to heading her firm, she is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Behavior at Edgewood College. People are her passion
and she enjoys meeting with clients to discuss a full range of topics including mission, philosophy, marketing, budgeting and printing. She especially prides herself in creating a
work environment that empowers staff to strive for excellence. She is often found around the office telling people that they work with "paper and ink", not "hearts in coolers", so
that they can remember not to take themselves too seriously.
Therese currently chairs the YWCA Board on which she has served for the past 4 years. She has been active in the Madison public schools by serving on the PTO and volunteering in many capacities. She co-chaired the Cherokee Middle Schools 50 year reunion raising nearly $35,000 for the Cherokee Heights Middle School Endowment Fund. She currently volunteers at West High School in fund-raising and monthly newsletter assembly. Therese has served for several years on the Marketing Committee of A Fund For Women and was instrumental in developing new branding materials for the organization. Through her business she has worked with many non-profits including Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and the Madison Repertory Theater.
She lives in Fitchburg with her partner and 17 year old daughter and enjoys traveling, boating, swimming, golfing reading, shopping and restful winter days by her fire at
home. She especially enjoys time with her nieces and nephews who provide a perspective on what’s really important in life...family.
